After an evening of spending some quality time together, a dear old friend has left this world. Now is not the time for dwelling, even on the good times: It’s simply all too fresh. Later we’ll share more memories. But for now, I am simple saying adieu. Farewell Vanguard; you will certainly be missed!

All too soon a game that has given us some of the best innovated gaming features will be gone. Yes, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes is closing in on its closure date. Come July 31st, people will no longer be able to run across the massive world dodging danger, really ply their skills in a deep crafting system, or one-up the NPCs using the diplomacy system. And it is a shame.

Before it’s gone, I hope many people have the chance to jump back in appreciate the gem. I took a few moments just to fly a bit and stock up on some visual memories, and you can, too, with this video. Here’s to many more memories before the game is gone!
