If you thought last year’s annual AdventureQuest 3D DuckyDucky Easter Hunt seemed late…
*Checks calander* Yup, 2026 broke that record! But first things first: I offer sincere apologies. The past two months have been extremely difficult for my family, and anything beyond the bare basics was impossible to pull off. During this time, DuckyDucky has focused on trying to help, so he was also unavailable. To make it up to folks (and because things are still precarious here), this year’s hunt will be a bit simpler — more relaxed.
During the hunt week, Sir DuckyDucky will still hide throughout Lore in his mini DuckyDucky form, spawning Mega DuckyDuckys for everyone to play with. But the number of hiding spots will decrease while the number of times he will spend in large maps will increase. Actual hunt times might also have to be adjusted — even on the fly — to 30 min instead of an hour. However, more days may be added if that happens! As before, drops from our darling DuckyZilla include DuckyDucky travel form feathers, capes, tokens, and the ghostly DuckyDucky housing statue. The tokens, of course, can be traded for a pet, a travel form, and housing items in the community shop.
When does this begin? Well, how about tonight? Yup, the opening hunt is tonight, 22 May 2026! The 8th annual DuckyDucky Easter Hunt kicks off at approximately 9:10 p.m. EDT on MJTV (just a few moments after OPTV ends!). If this isn’t enough notice, no need to worry as there will be plenty more throughout the weekend and next week. with oodles of chances to earn some fluffy stuff.
As with previous hunts, clues for the search will be shared via this post, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, DuckyDucky Discord, and even livestream on MJTV. This time, however, Sir DuckyDucky will not fly off so quickly to find a new hiding place; instead, he will chill longer in the spot then head to larger spaces in Lore. At the end of each hunt, DuckyDucky invites all to dance with Mega DuckyDucky at the DuckyDucky party house. Fewer hunts each night but more massive DuckyDuckys for more loots. Not a bad trade, no?

A friendly reminder: Sir DuckyDucky doesn’t play favorites! His Go To function is disabled and his friends list is empty, so no one will have an advantage. Also, everyone who participates gets a reward thanks to drops. With plenty of chances to play with DuckyZilla, folks are sure to fill up. If you can’t catch him at one spot before he moves, follow the clues and head to the next.
